PC: A Notice for Players Experiencing Bugs/Crashes with 1.4.0 (Test of Time)
This issue is often caused by mod incompatibilities, including mods that may still be subscribed through Steam Workshop even if they aren’t currently enabled in-game.
Workaround:
- Ensure you have the latest drivers installed.
- Disable any installed mods or add-ons
- In the Steam Workshop, select “Unsubscribe from All” to fully remove subscribed mods
- Restart Steam before launching the game again
- Use our PC Compatibility Checker and double-check that you're at minspec.
If you’re still experiencing problems after confirming all mods are removed, please send us a report with your dxdiag and msinfo so we can investigate further.
