Performance Issues After 1.2.0 Update
Players report lagging, stuttering, hitching, and general performance issues after updating to patch 1.2.0.
If you're experiencing this, please open a ticket with Civilization Support. and include the following details to help our teams investigate
- When do you notice the performance drop? During turn processing, combat, assigning resources, etc.
- Do you have mods installed?
- Does this happen on a newly created save file?
- DxDiag/MSinfo if you're playing on PC. You can find the steps to create and attach these files on this page.
- Save file where this was seen if you're playing on PC.
Workaround: Reloading a save can help improve performance for a short time.
