Incorrect Resolution After Switching Monitors

Switching from your original monitor to a different one and back, but it doesn’t restore your resolution the right way? Then the game looks corrupted and messed up, missing menus and bits of the UI or not responding when you click on menu options like they are in the wrong place, right?

We have a pretty easy fix for this one:

1. Close the game.
2. Check the files where your game is stored. By default, this is C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI.
3. Delete the AppOptions.txt file. 

 Keep in mind that [USERNAME] is the name of your Windows user account. If you saved Civilization VI to a different drive, you may need to track it down instead of using that default path.
