Salt is still listed as a requirement to unlock Mughal in the Modern Age
When viewing the unlock conditions for Mughal, "Improve three Salt" is listed.
This is incorrect, as a previous update moved Salt to be an Antiquity Age resource and this no longer applies to unlocking Mughal.
