What Apple devices can run Civilization VII Arcade Edition?
Apple set-ups running on an A17 chip and above can enjoy this game via the Apple Arcade subscription service. Large and Huge map types are only available on devices with 8GB+ RAM. You can find more details on the official store page.

Will multiplayer be available in Civilization VII Arcade Edition?

How does the Civilization VII Arcade Edition content differ from other platforms?
Civilization VII Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade is the Civilization VII base game experience; it will not receive any DLC seen in Civilization VII on other platforms such as post-launch leaders, civs, or Wonders.
Compared to the post-launch Updates that Civilization VII receives on other platforms, Civilization VII Arcade Edition only includes base game changes up to Civilization VII's Update 1.2.5 that went live on other platforms on September 30, 2025.
In addition, Civilization VII Arcade Edition does not include features seen in Civilization VII on other platforms:
- No multiplayer support at launch. We are planning to add multiplayer with other Apple Arcade players to Civilization VII Arcade Edition at a later date.
- No support for cross-play or cross-saves with non-Apple devices (PC and Console platforms), but cross-play and cross-saves are available across supported Mac, iPhone, and iPad devices
- No Legends System or Mementos meta-progression
