You can earn the Modern Trade banner by following the steps below:
- Step 1: Join the Official Civilization Discord by following this link.

Step 2: Follow the instructions in the channel #earn-discord-banner, including:
- Type in /claim [banner].
- Submit enter, and you will now receive a unique one-time use code via private message. Only one code is allowed per user.
- Step 3: In-game, navigate to the Collection screen and click the code redemption button. Enter your unique code in-game to unlock.

Q: I followed the steps but didn’t receive my banner!
A: If you’re having trouble earning a code, let our moderators know by visiting the #contact-a-moderator channel on the Official Civilization Discord. Remember, only one code is allowed per user.
Q: The instructions in-game tell me to link my 2K account, how do I do that?
A: The in-game message that mentions linking your 2K and Discord accounts is incorrect, and we’re working to fix that. In the meantime, you can earn the Modern Trade banner by following the steps above!
Q: How long do I have to earn the banner?
A: This offer is available through April 22, 2027.
Q: I'm on Switch and don't see my banner!
A: The Switch version of Civilization VII is not yet on update 1.2.0. When the update is live, you'll be able to redeem the code you've received as it doesn't expire.
