Civilization V: Where is the SDK?

The Modding SDK is available as a free download on Steam, but you need to have Civilization V owned on your account:

  1. Open Steam and select the "Library" dropdown menu. 
  2. Select "Tools" from the Library menu.
  3. You should see "Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK" as an available tool.
  4. Right-click on "Install Game..."
  5. The Civilization V SDK will begin downloading and installing within Steam.
