Crossplay
Players who link their 2K Account to Sid Meier's Civilization VII will be able to play multiplayer across any supported platform.
You can play on:
- PlayStation
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox
- Xbox One
- Xbox X|S
- PC
- Steam
- Epic
- Nintendo
- Switch - eligible for multiplayer games on Tiny or Small maps
On Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, and Epic up to five players are supported in the Antiquity & Exploration Ages, and up to eight players are supported in the Modern Age. On Nintendo Switch, up to four players are supported in the Antiquity & Exploration Ages, and up to six players are supported in the Modern Age in games. For crossplay games with Switch players, map size and number of players will need to match Switch options.
Cross-progression
If you link your 2K Account to your platform accounts, you will have the option to select the progress you have made from another platform as you load in.
Keep in mind that the first account you link will default to being your Primary account. If you select the progress from another platform account, this new choice will become your Primary account.
