Nuclear Detonation Effects Don't Trigger when Launched by Squadron Commander

When launching a Nuclear Strike with a Squadron Commander in Modern Age gameplay, the animation and sound effects for the flyover and detonation sequence are absent from the target site. This issue occurs in both multiplayer and single player.
